TTaventura Ainsa: Deportes de Aventura en el Pirineo

The requirements to participate in this activity are: Motivation, Imagination and Team work, because of that, it can be programmed to suit a children`s day out, a group of friends celebrating any kind of party, a reunion of an agency or a group of mountaineers or skiers who would like to enter in the world of the nivology. During the process of the production of an igloo there are jobs suitable for everyone and others that require a certain skill.

Mountain clubs and mountain troops, rescue teams, education of guides, etc. always include in their winter courses the production of igloos.
Now it´s not necessary any more to be part of any of these groups to find out what they do with hard snow in our mountains and it´s the best way to improvise a bivouac in the snow.

With the pretext of making an igloo, we learn to distinguish the different types of snow, how they transform, why the avalanches are formed, etc...

EQUIPMENT INCLUDED in the PRICE OF THE ACTIVITY:

• Handsaw and/or spade.

What do I need?

• As personal equipment, the most important for any winter activity are the following three elements: Hat, gloves (in this case, more than one pair) and sunglasses, as well as sports clothes, trekking boots, small backpack with a raincoat, warm clothes, camera, etc...
